We find out Friday Live and Local host Andre McGary is leaving for a run at State Senate. Which means that hard to keep a person employed between 1-4 slot is open again at The Heritage Talker.
Just don't feel the buzz about who the new host is going to be, as we wait for another "Big Announcement" from 102.3.
I hope we get someone new and fresh with entertaining qualities, not an old tired former re-tread(s) who battle the bottle or the powers to be too much to remain employable. Been there done that.
But just not feeling the excitement this go around. Are we seeing the slow demise of another industry? I think so..Radio is on life-support as technology grows radio will go.....Just ask the Music (cd sales) companies, Books, Newspapers,Magazines..porn etc...Radio is in the cross-hairs..
